The name of a young person who found somewhere to stay, reconnected with learning, or took their first steps toward independence. At Youth Futures, impact isn’t measured in outputs alone. It’s measured in the moments that change the course of a young life.

    Young people supported through our community school programs in 2025
    Over 230 full qualifications were awarded to students across our programs in 2025, the third consecutive year we have exceeded 200 qualifications.

    Nights of sleep across transitional and 24/7 supported accommodation services
    In 2025, 66 young parents and children received support through our accommodation and outreach programs.

    Drop-in attendance across 2025 at Altone Youth Centre
    Over 250 Emergency Relief essentials care packages were provided in 2025

Why it matters

The young people we support have often experienced trauma, family breakdown, or have simply run out of options. Without early, wraparound support, the consequences for individuals and for our community are significant and lasting.

That’s why we don’t just provide somewhere to stay. We offer a pathway — from housing instability to long-term independence, from disengagement to education, from isolation to connection. Our approach is holistic, evidence-informed, and built on genuine relationships. Because for young people who have been let down before, trust is everything.

  • Homelessness and Support Services
    In 2025, 45 young people and 34 children were supported across our programs, with 2 new services, Djinda and Brentwood, expanding our reach.

    350 young people supported through our schools in 2025, with 230 full qualifications awarded — the third year in a row we’ve exceeded 200.

    Over 250 emergency relief sessions delivered, 356 1-1 wellbeing sessions, and casework support for 150 young people across 34 cultural backgrounds.

    Altone Youth Centre welcomed 390 young people across 5,481 drop-in attendances in 2025, for many their first connection to community and support.
