At Youth Futures, our team is our greatest strength — passionate, skilled, and united by a genuine belief that every young person deserves a chance to build a brighter future. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

“I love my job. I go home every day knowing I’ve made a difference. These young people are doing their best. They just need support and someone to back them.” Lara, Housing Support Worker

What we stand for

  • Our Vision

Communities where all young people are valued, respected, and celebrated.
  • Our Mission

To provide young people with professional, compassionate services that increase community participation, build independence, and enhance wellbeing.
  • Our Purpose

To be a united force of empowerment for young people marginalised by adversity and institutional discrimination.

What it means to work at Youth Futures

Working at Youth Futures means showing up every day for young people who need it most. It means being part of a team that leads with empathy, acts with integrity, and never gives up on a young person — no matter how complex their circumstances.

No two days are the same. Our work is challenging, meaningful, and deeply rewarding. You’ll be supported by a team that genuinely cares about each other as much as they care about the young people we serve.

“It’s a job where I love coming to work, no day is the same.” Audrey, Youth Futures Staff Member

  • Empathy

We listen first. Every young person has their own story, and we take the time to understand it before anything else.
  • Empowerment

We believe in the capacity of every young person to shape their own future. Our role is to walk alongside them, not in front of them.

We are stronger together. When we connect and collaborate, across our teams, our partners, and our community, good things happen.
  • Integrity

We say what we’ll do and we do what we say. Young people and their families can count on us to show up with honesty and respect.
  • Vigour
